[color=blue:4935dde25f]I'm checking this out, but most of us are still over in the "REAL" boards. Wonder why they decided to spring this on us? I guess the old "let's see how we can make the paying customers even more miserable" attitude won yet again in their decision making process.[/color:4935dde25f] :x

Yeah, I don't see this new format becoming too popular. Harder to see the topic discussed, and no search capability, at least as far as I can tell. You do get little stars next to your name though.

No search? That's a deal breaker for me. As a newbie, I live and die by digging up names and then cross-checking them against all of the great posts.

If the term "beta" means an early version of the software, I say add the search functionality and I'll play.

Not only that, but turning on notifications means that you get an e-mail that "someone posted" in a thread you are subscribed to. You don't get the content of their posting, you have to click on the link and actually go to the thread to see what was posted.

This is not gonna cut it for records posting when I live off the actual e-mail of the posting so that I can save it and post when I get the time. Having to go back through the records thread isn't a good substitute.

Leave it to TSN to be considering a message base with a lot LESS functionality than the other one, infopoop problems aside.

MM :(

That is a real bummer about the notification feature changing to not e-mail the actual message. :(

Not only that, but the notification e-mail says that you only get ONE e-mail, no matter how many posts come in the topic. Definately not a good thing.
