It's far too early to pull the plug. If you can make some trades, fine. However, any free agent moves you make will hurt your team.

I agree that it's to early to do anything radical but your team does lack a good lead-off man, down the road you could drop Gordon or Collins for a great o.b. dude.

That was my first reaction. Too many sluggers and not enough setup hitters. Almost 2 HR a game but only 63 runs scored. looks like a lot of solo HR to me. Try offering some of your sluggers for some high OBP guys. Make a number of offers to a number of teams and then close down trading after you obtain a couple better OBP players.

The name of the game is patience. Let the dice rolls come your way. Give it 50-60 games until you start making FA moves.

You have 4 guys (Gedman, Ripper, Yount, Gordon) who will start hitting better, and 3 SP (Coveleski, Ruether, Bagby) who will pitch better. The only overperformer to date is Watt. Be patient and play with the lineups. For OBP, I would lead Bando off vs lefties and Meusel vs righties. Tinker a bit. Be patient. But, as the others said, troll trade opps for an OBP guy. Gordon doesn't have a lot of trade value, but Ripper might.

Really I just wanted to whine and moan

It's just like in Asutin Powers movie; I'm Dr. Evil and I keep reaching for the "kill Scott" button.
