well, I bit the bullet. I dropped Ames, Bagby, Konstanty from the pen, and dropped Brooks for Steinfeldt. I picked up Bob Gibson, Jim Morris and Sisk, dropped McCormick and picked up Luderus. I still want to improve my OF or get better D at SS, but will probably try and do this through trades.
