Treasure Found!

You might be right. I haven't found all the cards yet for the Green Bay team so I'm not sure which #'s had the TD.s on them. It was the #1 kick returner, that much I remember. I always drafted a QB for that GB team. Barts Int's were always too nasty! We threw QB's in our draft piles for all different years. Imagine Dan Fouts QBing that team. Or Dan Marino! These truely were fantasy leagues we played! :D

Not germaine to anything, but speaking of SOM football; I used to run a league for myself and a bunch of friends back in the late 80's, early 90's. Each season, we would draw numbers and pick a complete team to play. I had one of the excellent Giant teams from 86 or 87. Excellent defense, solid QB in Simms, good rushing. Anyway, I was playing a guy who loved the Cowboys, and so we talked a lot of trash back and forth. We were hard core players, kept detailed stats, etc. Anyway, late in the season, I was beating my Cowboy friend by 4 points, with 45 sec. left in the game, ball around his 40 yd line, 1st and 10. All I had to do was the old kneel on the ball, linebuck routine to end the game. BUT, I was a stat fanatic, and Simms was competing for the league lead in Passing %. So, I decided to get cute and throw a high % screen pass to my fullback. My opponent calls run, but I roll three on his FP defense card, and, you guessed it, rolled snakeyes for the Interception. And, as the SOM Gods laughed at my arrogance, my friend rolled a three on the return chart, returning it 60+ yards for the go ahead, and game winning TD. Man, I heard about that play for YEARS afterwards from him.

My first wife made me make that same choice in 1987. And, yes, SHE WAS EVIL!!!!

Clemente was a -6 in the on line version of the '60 Pirates in the original ATG. The '60 Pirates were then dropped whn ATG2 started.

Thank for the second wife. She is wonderful. She even tolerates Strat...

I have seen the first in 10 years, but more than likely the "WAS" is probably actually "STILL IS".
