forbes team thoughts?

You definitely have to keep Carter and Alou. If you dropped Wade for Garman, then that was a mistake. I would have dropped Perranoski for Wade because you need $$$ to improve your rotation and Wade would have been fine with a top 3 of Pete, Hughson, and Pollett (who you could have afforded if you dropped Perranoski for Wade I believe).

Prefer a little more overall team speed. No clear slots for guys to hit, lots of medicore lead off and 2 hitters. 4 15 game injury risks. Carter against righties in Forbes probably should bat 8th. Beggs and Perranoski are excellent pitchers for Baker not Forbes. Try Elston or Humphries instead. Both lack ballpark singles vs lefties; Elston has none on his card at all. Of D is a tad shaky. Doran IMHO just plain sucks.

I suspect the team might struggle to break .500.

bunze0, now that I look at your team you need bullpen help. I haven't looked at FA market but yes keller is a nice pick up but injury could cost you a lot of games. Doby will struggle(you park) and you don't really need his power. Definately with out a doubt keep Wagner, Rolfe, Carter, Judge and Alou. I have had real good success with doran in pitcher parks. Not a great average(but not horable) but great in the field. Overall looks real good Alexander is a 25-30 game winner in that park. I don't know if he is available but D. Damiago in center would work.

Summary D. damaigo in center and upgrade bull pen and 4th starter. Wilks is a geat .50 pitcher in your park. Aguilarra isn't bad.

ps. for you D. johnston fans he is the .50 player out there. I love this guy. :)

I regularly use Alou in Forbes and he consistently gives me season of 25-30 HR, .300+ BA w/32-36 doubles. True, his OBP isn't good. But don't use him for his OBP. Use him as your secondary power source, behind your big RBI guy. Alou will clean up what's left behind quite well, while also getting alot of hits. His 17 speed and -3 arm at all three OF spots are big pluses in Forbes as well.
