Back to the 60's- Ballpark draft done ..now put a team in !

Postby Free Radicals » Fri Feb 10, 2006 2:06 pm

You can only choose players from the listed teams . We will figure out what ballparks are dished out to who later . I'd like to get 12 different parks in the league with NO duplications . I think we'll go with 21 teams to increase the player pool . It should be interesting . Have to use players not normally used . Kind of like the 1969 game . Player pool is limited there.

So here's the teams you can choose players from :

Bal 70 - Bos 67 - ChC 59 - ChW 59 - Cin 75 -Cle 54 - Det 68 -KC 80 - LA 65 -LA 77 - Mil 57 - Min 65 -Mon 80 - NYM 69 - NYY 56 - Oak 73 - Phl 50 - Phl 77 -Pit 71 - SF 62 - StL 64 -

Ballparks and ratings included in the league . No other parks allowed .

Bal - Memorial '70 - 17-5-12-12
Brk- Ebbetts '53 - 8-8-10-10
Bos- Fenway '67 - 19-19-18-19
ChC- Wrigley '59 - 4-4-11-11
ChW- Comiskey '59 - 4-4-6-6
Cin- Riverfront '75 - 13-13-11-11
Cle- Municipal '54 - 11-11-18-13
Det - Tigers '68 - 7-5-16-13
KC- Royals '80 - 10-10-3-3
LA- Dodgers '65 - 3-5-1-1
LA- Dodgers '77 - 9-9-12-12
Mil- County St. '57 - 5-5-4-4
Min- Metropolitan '65 - 7-12-9-9
Mon- Olympic '80 - 4-4-4-4
NYM- Shea ' 69 - 4-4-9-9
NYY- Yanks ' 56 - 10-9-19-5
Oak- Oakland '73 - 1-1-6-6
Phl- Shibe ' 50 - 7-7-5-5
Phl- Veterans '77 - 6-6-15-15
Pit- 3 Rivers '71 - 6-6-9-9
SF- Candlestick ' 62 - 1-3-1-1
StL- Busch '64 - 17-17-19-11

Can only take players from these teams and only these particular years . I added (missed) Brk 53 and Ebbetts. So 22 teams .

I guess we could due a lottery to decide who choose parks in what order . We'll wait til there's 12 for that part .

Hey Von, this would make for a pretty interesting live draft of which drafting your park could be part of it???

What do you think?

I've never done one and I don't think alot of the folks in have . I'm not sure how it works and what to do ( other than pick players) We'll have to get the others onto the boards to see whats going on closer I think .

I'm not sure, but I don't think Penngray's site could be set up that way, though I could be wrong.

It shouldn't be too hard, people simply need to draft the right players.

Live drafts are a blast.

 Never have been involved in a live draft. However, I'm game if someone just tells me what I need to do.

They may be Coach but you have to get all 12 people at the same place at the same time . That may be a trick to pull off. denorien its 80M , no DH , waivers. We do it as an autodraft . Just have to figure out what parks each one gets .
