"Saw a lot of Pie Traynor, but only doing TV ads for a local heating company on a local wrestling show!"

I so remember Pie doing those ads and watching Bruno Samartino...
I just can't remember the name of that company....

It was the American Heating Company that Pie promoted!

Those were the glorious Saturdays of youth - Bruno at 6PM, Chiller Theatre after the 11 o'clock news!

I never realized who he was until later on and after he was gone..

Those were the days...

Wow! Chiller Theatre in the afternoons is really going back a long way! That was the spot before they moved to 11:15PM.

There is actually a fascinating website about the program called www.chillertheatrememories.com that has a bunch of features and pics of the show throughout the years. It even lists every movie ever shown up until cancellation! Great memories/pictures of Terminal Stare and all those other characters that Cardille had on the show. Lots of wrestling pics on this site too.

Bill Cardille is still doing AM radio! Hard to believe!

You could also have met Pie in person frequently at Honus Wagner's sporting goods downtown. My mother always told me I met Honus when I was little, but I don't remember it since I was just 2 or 3 at the time.

Who can? Ameri-can!!
