You have to pick the right team name to avoid normalization

Bad strat night. Down to less than 17 active teams last night, just not many leagues to join. These were the three teams whose results I stayed up late for and all three struck out.

I thought it was obviously tongue in cheek, but around here ya never know how things will be interpreted.

But it's fun to watch people respond to ambiguity.

yeah I actually got down to 9 teams at one time. Haven't joined a regular autodraft league in months. Heart just not in it any more. I still have alot of theme commitments when doesn't help the win pct but are fun.

Yeah, I've missed you. Not that it's hurt my winning pct. anyway.

Bonds hit three in tonight's series. Now has 103 hrs with 12 games to go. 103 ties the all time ATG record. Don't think I ever had a guy even hit 90 before.

I like Bonds. :D

I believe in normalization

More realistic than Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny.

I have a team that has dominated its league from the very beginning. It has a 76-53 record even with this recent 'anomaly' . It's now lost 5 out of the last 6 series including losses against teams w/55-74 and 57-72 records in my home ballpark (a RH HR park) while neither of these crappy teams are built for it.

I've never had a team maintain its lead, even without injuries and personnel changes. There's always a that sensation of being reeled in, and it's not imaginary.

Back in ATG4, I had a team win its 101st game with 24 games remaining. I had visions of 117 dancing in my head. It went 11-13 down the stretch to finish with 112 wins. Won the first playoff game 12-0, then got beat in 3 straight. I was in a tough divison though, the 4th place team finished with a winning record!

I am obviously a Seattle fan, as I live on the eastcoast of Canada and name most team Seattle XXXXXX. This team reminded me of my precious Mariners winning 116 even though they were about average down the stretch. They also blew a 14-0 lead against the Chi Sox one game that year!
