You're probably right. Initially that was what I was going to do. Whatever your max was for the season is what would be applied. That's certainly the easiest and most straightforward way to do it.

I do like the idea of being able to drop some salary to rebuild if things aren't ging how you planned it. But it probably leaves things too open for people to abuse the system.

I was thinking Live DD draft for the first season or at least part of it, and autodrafts after that. I've never done a DD live draft, I've just heard they take a long time. Another option is drafting on the message board here, which should be pretty easy.

Starting with the second season, if everyone just declares who their keepers are, then you could put them in the last 8-10 positions on the autodraft card.

However, again, I'm open to change things. I'm just hoping to get enough interest to eventually fill the league and then hammer out what needs hammering amongst the managers.
