I assume you're using Heintzelman for LH relief. He's not terrible for the price, but not a great choice. Look at some LHers in that range.

If you can, trade in Boyer for some OBP at 3rd - he's bound to hit about .220 in Griffith. Steinfeldt, J Robinson - heck even Molitor - would be better choices - you need OBP badly. If Pesky's out there, I'd swap him for Ripken. You have an outstanding defense, which I'm sure was your goal, but it looks like a lot of 4-2, 3-1 losses.

I'd also rather have 2 4M relievers than Eck with a starting staff that isn't likely to complete a lot of games. Newhouser, Tincup, even G Harris, would be decent.

Ok - pitching
I have four guys that can go the distance (8 inning guys) -
using Eck as one inning closer and Heinz'l and Grettel oops Harris in short set up and Lopez and Roe as mop up - HAL willing
lineup
1. Pesky, Johnny (L) SS
2. McCormick, Frank (R) 1B
3. Dawson, Andre (R) CF

5. Valentine, Ellis (R) RF
6. Robinson, Brooks (R) 3B
7. Doerr, Bobby (R) 2B
8. Dempsey, Rick (R)

Note - In my division looks like a lot of 2-1 games - the most hitter friendly is Forbes 09!
