I feel a theme league coming on.

Throw together a latin team, break up the african americans into two teams, and we're on our way.

If anyone tries this as a theme league let me know.... haven't checked this thread ina week or so.... good job making these teams.... who knew Croatian produces good catchers.... is there a Pierczynski card in atg?

Oh and definitely need a spot for Moose Skowron back first and pitch hitter for the Poles !

Would Latin America be a single block or would certain sub groups split off ... say a Cuban theme?

I thought Johnny Damon was an American Indian. I guess I was wrong - his mother is from Thailand, which explains his features.

LATIN PLAYERS/ J. DAMON

Postby 1787 » Thu Nov 03, 2011 3:38 pm

I think we can make a case for two Latin teams,
1. Carribian [Cuba,Puerto Rico and the Dominican]
2. Mexico and South American players in the other.

as for Damon I too thought he had American Indian ancenstry,I remember years ago reading a long story about him in the BaseBall digest[way back when he was just coming up with the Royals] and Im sure they reported him to be part American Indian.
