So what round and pick did you take him? What other shortstops or third baseman had already been drafted?

Anyone want to weigh in with ARod vs Jeter?

Obviously, people like Wagner.

I used ARod once. I was underwhelmed at 100M. I would use him again though. Higher cap.

An Arod verses Jeter discussion seems quite appropriate as these 2 may be forever linked. Debate has existed for years who is better.

I just swapped out ARod 2003 for ARod 2005 in a live draft league because my lineup needed another guy who hits RHP a lot more than one who hits LHP. In general, though, I would prefer to have the 1e8 rather than the 2e8, but the 2e8 is by far his best hitting card in the set and it is much better against RHP. There are two Minute Maids in the league.

Also had him another time, and he hit equal or better than his actuals.

Implied in this statement is multiple uses. Implied is that in previous uses he underwhelmed. Why do we keep using cards we are always underwhelmed with?

This is just one of the things about the strat addiction I find interesting.

Well, first time I use a card and it underwhelms, I suspect it's a sample size issue.

Second time, and I suspect it's a lineup, utilization issue.

Third time, and I'm just insane.
