Sorry PKB, but that's wrong. In this situation, Slim Jones is down for 10 games. HAL inserts Murray as the scheduled starter in the rotation in place of Jones. Murray will be the starting pitcher for games INJ+5 and INJ+10 (there's nothing you can do about it except pick up a cheap SP for two starts), and Murray is unavailable to relieve again until at least game INJ+14 or (more likely) INJ+15. The only exception to that would be a blowout or very long extra-inning game that uses up the entire bullpen.
Murray is a R4. Adams is a S8/R5. That's the primary reason it CAN happen to Adams, but it WON'T happen with Murray.
