This is a Pete Rose moment - where is Bart Giamatti? :)

Actually if people are [i:b207b7413e]trading [/i:b207b7413e]after the deadline that implies two people in concert breaking the rules.

Going public with the perps is a possible remedy.

Please fix this soon, sschu

I'm in a league with Bernie and I sent him a message to look into it.

I have a team starting the playoffs tonight and I could use another stick...hmmm...

...kidding of course... :D

It's not just trading, though. You could conceivably swap out your entire team (There's not even a salary penalty if you do a free agent transaction).

I just played around with it and yes, you can definitely offer a trade after the deadline. I'm not sure if you need the other coach to accept it or not.

[b:8d6fba1d97]But, think about the ramaficitions ... [/b:8d6fba1d97]

A team that makes the playoffs with only one stud starting pitcher could in theory trade with "dormant" teams for their stud pitchers before every playoff game and in theory have a rotation of Pete, Pfeister, 3-Finger and Camnitz for only the price of Pete ............ Scary ..........

Actually, when you trade for a pitcher you can start him right away, even if he pitched the previous game. It might make it possible to trade Pete back and forth after every game and have him start every game!

Looks like my "proven winner" method of getting to the playoffs and finals has been discovered! Damn you all for this, I will make u pay!!!!!!

Of course, I'm kidding (anyone who wants is free to see my 2 playoff appearances in the last 14 or so teams I've had is free to check it)

I really hope this hasn't affected me directly - it would really su@K to find out that I got bumped from the playoffs by a team that was rigged after the fact. This would put a major damper on my already precarious relationship with the folks there at SOM...

I agree that any transgressors should be "outed."
