[quote:99362c4996]I also would be interested, just give me something to tell the wife and I am in for sure![/quote:99362c4996]

I usually like to remind my wife it's been a loooong time since she's had a "girls night/day out." Wouldn't it be nice to have a break from _________( fill in appropriate excuse here such as housework, kids, etc..) This way, you not only get brownie points for giving her some time, but you get what you want as well! Disclaimer: If she reviews the credit card bill, make sure you buy your team on a different day than the one she is bound to charge her excursion on. I learned this the hard way!! I'm such a stinker!! :P

How about two weeks from this coming Saturday? Start at 9p.m. Like to end no later than 1 a.m. Three hours for such a draft is nothing. The time will fly by as it is totally engrossing, at least for me. I think four hours is about right, but I'm used to chess tournaments with two 6 hour games per day. So I'd agree that five hours would probably be too much.

Let Simon run the draft though, given that he has more experience and I have no administrative experience at Penngray's site -- if he is even willing to allow it to be used given his divorce with TSN. I still think that we can do two minutes per pick, three at the most. Hopefully people don't normally experience computer problems. Those that do should warn the rest of us in advance and maybe use the phones as backup, as Simon suggested. I have only had computer problems on my end once, last month the cable went out due to a fire 10 miles away, and was down for three hours. Other than that if TSN isn't 'upgrading' or it's a Monday night with too much traffic that our beloved site can't seem to handle, I'm basically glitch free here.

I would like the league to be $80 M. I actually have a mild preference for a dh but whatever the majority wants is fine. I'm thinking that 10 rounds live is very doable, although I personally still like 15. If we can do two minutes a pick, which to me is an eternity, the maximum amount of time for ten rounds should be 4 hours. But many of the picks may be made faster so I think that we might even be able to get it done in 3 if everyone commits to being available for that entire time slot. Usually live drafts are followed by waivers so assume that will be the default option for this draft.

So here's a shot at a sign up sheet: 80M 10 rounds live draft with waivers
Start time 9 p.m. EDT Saturday May 13. Unique stadiums.

1. Petrosian (dh mildly preferred but OK either way)

Petrosian,

Great idea. You might want to consider going from 7:00 til 11:00 so you can all load to Frenzy (or waiver) that night. :)

That time slot might make it hard for those on the West Coast.

Actually I think that TSN should have an option for a pure Frenzy-- all 25 picks from scratch. That would be really interesting. Maybe someone who is friendly with Bernie can pose the possibility. I doubt he would listen to two of his best customers.

We'll need a lotto for the draft order, correct?

4 DaMan DH PA

So its 9 players and a stadium?

If you want 10 player, it should be a 12 round (11 players and stadium)
