200m DH Live draft with common stadium?

Potential suggestion based on my $200 2005 experience but not sure if it applies to ATG. We used a 25 man roster limit. With $200(in 2005 at least), money is not an issue and everyone would use as many players as possible. Placing a 25 man roster limit makes it a little more challenging to fill out your roster and limits extreme specialization. There were also unlimited roster moves in this league, which again is a factor in 2005 because you can't really spend $200. This allows you to basically add and drop players for specific series maychups. Again, I have never been in a $200 ATG league. Do these issues apply?

I'm not sure those are issues, especially with a common balanced stadium. The players in ATG are far less unbalanced, so even with an unlimited cap it's difficult to make a very specialized roster in a live draft. Good thoughts, though.

My understanding is there is not a 25 man roster limit only 25 rounds to draft as that is all that goes on a draft card. After the draft you can pick up all you want to the 28 or so that ATGII will allow you.

As for dropping/adding for series yes you can do that but obviously someone could then pick up your players so they really need to be marginal players.

Outstanding! What a quick fill! :D

We'll use tonight's numbers and Penn's site. Since there is no clock for rounds 1-5, we can start tomorrow. I, or anyone who knows how to, can set up the draft. We'll post the numbers and draft order as soon as they are available.

We'll not have a roster restriction. I see your points, durantjerry, but I tend to agree with Treyomo (as usual... ). I think it'll be fun to use all the players, and with the common stadium, unbalanced players will carry a risk and face limited use rather than be seen as an advantage.
