since every pitcher's card has the same amount of X rolls( totally unrealistic), then what is the advantage of having pitchers that specialize in strikeouts?

Cy Young awards?

Actually,
Fewer chances for OF throwing errors.
Fewer chances for runner advancement on "productive" outs.
Fewer chances for DP.
Harder to HnR (I think).

Small edges...

theoretically, shouldn't strikeout pitchers tire earlier from all the pitches to ko batters

Well that's interesting...in fact most of the "horses" I think of are actually strikeout pitchers. But they're not models of pitching efficiency. Either way, SOM/SOMO doesn't have an algorithm for that. Great/best baseball replay sim but not[i:a3d9f1bd6b] that[/i:a3d9f1bd6b] sophisticated.

you'd think the all time hr leader for 2b and the only one to have over 100 rbis for 8 seasons, 6 in a row, the great hornsby only did it 5, would get more cards.
