Glad to hear I'm not the only one who doesnt like drafts held at the dope [/quote:f8b62bbc7f]

Help me out on this one! It just allows us to see who everyone is drafting and makes things quite easy. Is it the time between picks that you don't like?
BobBoone myself and Jet40 have used this several times and the only negative I guess is the waiting on picks but it's not horrendous.

Although I am not good enough for your league because my 36 live teams (.522) and 26 200mil leagues (.524) drag my percentage down to a measly .527, I can try to answer the Diamond Dope draft question. To follow every pick made in a DD draft be prepared to hit the refresh button 500-700 times. The TSN live draft happens in real time without reloading the page over and over. The TSN draft requires all managers to log on at the same time making picks in anywhere from 45 to 120 seconds. The DD draft is the only option if you want a draft with no time limits which could cause the draft to take a couple weeks or so. One advantage at the DD draft site is you can't draft stadiums on the TSN site. I avoid drafts at DD also when possible.

The Diamond Dope site is fantastic for the accumulation of player stats from completed leagues. To me the card reader feature at DD is not needed. If I want to read the card, I just read the card. I don't need it translated for me, I just add up the various on base chances on a card. It takes about 10-20 seconds to read a card.

Problems abound with diamond dope. Often interminable waits that result in skipped picks; last Barnstormers draft the site actually made two picks for me on proxies of players that I hadn't listed. That problem did stop once I changed my password, but still.

So often with DD drafts it seems like just making a pick within the window is more important than who you are picking.

Lets draft the old fashioned strat way. Fill out a draft card and hope we get a lot of our players.

My vote would be, if not on DD, then draft on here.

Prefer the regular route also. We could do a quicksilver type draft here. Say draft 6 rounds live and auto the rest.

I vote for this. Do you want stadiums drafted in round 6?

Whatever is easiest!

The only reason I suggested a DD draft was to eliminate people getting royally screwed. I went in a draft recently and got screwed out of top 3 picks. If we draft our first 6 players then everyone will get someone they want which is all I was trying to accomplish. So draft 6 then draft stadiums sounds good to me let's see who we have so far.
