I never get any of that crap anymore. I did what Vinnie said, cleared the cookies and have never seen one ad on this site since then. It's been well over a year now "ad free that's how life should be." Forgot how annoying they were.

I followed the instructions for window vista to clear cookies and turned off computer still have pop ups at sporting news.

Any other suggestions.

Get Firefox and install AdBlock Plus. When you come to the site and get a pop-up, it will allow you to ban all popups from that advertiser's site. Voila!

Yeah, I have FFox, with Adblock Plus, and I never see an ad.

FF + AdBlock plus = NO popups.
