[quote:8c2214c46f="PJ Axelsson"]There was never a better weasel moment than the day we had the timed 5pm frenzy. I had 5 transactions cued up in 5 different windows, once the signal went off, WHAM-WHAM-WHAM-WHAM-WHAM!

I believe Munich Man is still crying foul to this day...[/quote:8c2214c46f]

Basic Customer Service 101 as stated previously by another....

UNDER PROMISE OVER DELIVER.

If we were just told Tues and it became Moday all would be tickled pink if it happened...but once again we're left disappointed.

I agree completely, Nev. But believe me, I didn't have much choice in the matter.

I admit that I'm guilty of overpromising usually. I hope you can all see that it comes from caring, and being overeager to bring you a great product and a great time. But of course, even though I'm very proud of the work I do and my achievements, I know overpromising only undermines it.

It kills me because I've built a really good site here that I can't wait to show it off, but it's just some really stupid things mucking things up and throwing egg everywhere right now.

Anyway. I just have to power through this in any case.

Bernie can walk thru mirrored walls. I saw him do this once in Las Vegas.

So I trust his magical powers. The new site will rock once all the kinks are ironed out. :D 8-)

Thank you, Bernie. I've been part of the beta test at other sports sites that released on the promise date while still working out bugs, and that turned into an unmitigated disaster. If it takes one day, or two, or seven, let's get a clean release.

Michael's under promise mantra reminds me of a salesman at a previous job. When a new customer asked him how long the product warranty was effective, his reply: "Until you can't see my tail lights in the parking lot."

Well, well what a shock. :o

And it' gets better. When one tries to log on to the strat-o-matic.com, the computer freezes for several minutes. Happened both times I tried to access the site today.

Technical difficulties huh? Is that what we call incompetence now?
