You're missing the boat on Wills. You post his great numbers, but fail to reflect that he scored only 72 runs in the leadoff spot. That's horrible for a #1 hitter!

The same goes for Weaver. Only 69 runs in the 3 hole! Awful! If my top 3 guys aren't scoring 90-100 runs a piece, I have to be playing ultra deadball.

Ok , for all you nay sayers out there I solved your concerns and probably brought on new ones ! LOL I rearranged my team and got Ripken instead. He definately fits my double part of my thought . :D :D :D

So here's how I'm going to make it work now !

Doyle
Dawson
Stan
McCormick / Ripken
Ripken / McCormick
Medwick /Rolfe
Rolfe/Medwick
Gibson .

Hopefully this will work out .

Von,

Much better offensively, but your defense is still on the weak side, but it's still a step in the right direction. I know you love Wills, but I was in total agreement with everyone else about him. Ripken always puts up very solid, if not spectacular numbers.
