ATG new card teasers (new for Wed. 9/14)

[quote:6c268c178e="bernieh"]Ok, the players have been added.

There are [b:6c268c178e]40[/b:6c268c178e] of them (twice the number I'd initially planned). 20 hitters, 20 pitchers. Brock '74 is now a *3-7/- (20-16).

They're listed here.

You may now put them on your draft cards.

When I get back from lunch, I'll work on official announcements, clarifications, and documentation.

If you see anything broken, let me know. I do see that the "Other cards for this player in this player set" display is a bit messed up in the card popups for "double duty" players like Ruth.[/quote:6c268c178e]

I am in a league that has already drafted that has waivers this afternoon. I noticed that the new cards are listed in the player pool, but their salary is not a link so you cannot claim them. However, if you open the players card and click the place a claim link from the card it seems to let you do that. I'm guessing the new cards shouldn't be available at all to leagues that have already drafted (even if they have yet to go through waivers)?

Getowt - I'll have to look at that. They definitely should not available in leagues that have already drafted. Thanks for the heads up.

i am in a league that started last week. i noticed that the new players now come up if searching free agents by name and have the 'click to pick up player on waivers' link just as getowtamypot described. i didnt want to test it to see if i could pick up any of the new 'free agents' so i dont know if it would allow the pick up. i'm not sure if it would be be ethically correct to do cherry pick until things are decided upon. Hopefully i am not missing the boat here by giving in to my sense of honor and ethical concerns and refraining for now.

In my league that has waivers running tonight, the new cards do not show up in the free agent pool. I could however go to the card, switch cards and then put in a waiver claim on the Ruth pitching card. If you want, I am willing to make the claim and see if it actually goes through. It is a 60 mill league where I will not make waiver claims and change my team a hundred times by opening day anyway so no real harm. Obviously would ditch him if it gave him to me.

Good to see Herb Score in the fold. Also nice to see a better Carter and Reese.
