ATG III Team Teaser #8

Memories of Roger Maris card.....

Postby zrot » Mon Jul 17, 2006 5:43 pm

the card is buried somewhere right now, but if memory serves correct in the advanced version versus righties he had some rediculous homer rolls something like 1-7,8,9 and 10 I think as solid homers. Struggled a bit versus lefties I think. Solid arm maybe a -3 and rated a 2??

Now we have a slow Mickey Mantle. I'm so excited.

Players w/ 2 cards will have the mystery card. Incorporating the 80's game into ATG.

I'm sure the better cards will be kept for doubles.

Well, I "hate" the NY Yankees, being a die hard Red Sox fan. That said, this is a great pick. IMO, the 61 Yanks MUST be in the game. I agree with Bernie, the Yankees have produced many great players, and they should be represented in this game. While I "hate" the Yankees, I have nothing but respect and admiration for the Yankee greats like Ruth, Gehrig, Dimaggio, Mantle, Berra, Maris, Guidry, Mattingly, Jeter, etc., and have no problem with these guys on any of my teams. YAY for this pick, Bernie! :)

sorry folks, I'm just a yankees hater. Always have been, always will.
I'm also 28, so those late 80s, early 90s teams have a place in my heart.
