I just wanted to point out that using the method of scattering teams out through the 12 leagues that was discussed earlier will work fine. However, it will not work well with the system that places the top 4 picks in the East, second 4 four picks in the Central etc because we will keep seeing the same teams in our divisions throughout the leagues. That would be quite the complex schedule that puts a team in each draft slot over 12 leagues and spreads out the division foes, as well. I wonder if anybody ever created such a schedule?

Good point 2 headed beast, I will just make out a random schedule for each draft position so this problem will not happen. I will post it when I get it together.

I put some effort into a schedule last night and then again today. It is a lot harder than it sounds especially if trying to spread teams out and limit the same two teams from being together in a lot of divisions. Here is one possibility. At least it has every team in every draft slot once. However, it does have instances where some teams are in the same divisions 5 or 6 times in 12 leagues. Not ideal, I know. I hope you can do better.

Read from left to right so in League 1, Team A is #1, Team B is #2 etc:

ABCD EFGH IJKL
JFLG KAHC BDIE
IHEC JDKB FLAG
KJIA LGED HFBC
GKFJ CBLI AEDH
BAKE DIFG LCHJ
CLDK GHBA JIEF
LIBF HEJK DGCA
EDJH AKCF GBLI
FGHL BCIE KAJD
HCAI FJDL EKGB
DEGB ILAJ CHFK

You are right it is much harder than you would think, I recruited my wife to help me and this is what we came up with.

1 12 6 10 3 8 2 7 11 4 9 5

2 11 5 9 4 10 3 8 12 6 1 7

3 10 4 8 5 9 6 11 1 7 12 2

4 9 3 7 6 11 5 10 2 12 8 1

5 8 2 6 7 12 1 9 3 10 4 11

6 7 1 5 8 2 9 12 4 11 10 3

7 6 12 4 9 1 8 2 5 3 11 10

8 5 11 3 10 4 7 1 6 9 2 12

9 4 10 2 11 3 12 5 7 1 6 8

10 3 9 1 12 5 11 4 8 2 7 6

11 2 8 12 1 7 10 6 9 5 3 4

12 1 7 11 2 6 4 3 10 8 5 9

The first number on the left is the number of the original draft, the ones to the right are the subsequent drafts. I don't know if this is any better than yours but one of them will work.

As far as drafting teams goes, everyone has the option of just drafting 23 players, and those players belong to whoever drafted them. That way we can use all 80 mil to put together our teams. If someone would rather draft 25 that is up to them.

The divisions will be 1-12, unique ballparks which will be chosen when your turn to draft comes around. No DH.

If we only draft 23 and spend our $80 on them, how do we get our teams through the autodraft?

I am also unclear about this. Don't you HAVE to draft 25 men to fill out the draft card?

After everyone picks their teams you will just autodraft a couple extra .50 players that were not drafted. Then after the draft runs you can drop them and get the extra million to pickup whoever you could not afford to autodraft. For example you draft dennis lamp but can not afford him until you drop down to 23, you would have the rights to lamp after the draft runs. I hope I have made this clear enough so everyone understands what I mean.
