1. Modmark. Theme = Each team must have three position player (not DH) platoons active at all times; injuries don't let you off the hook, so plan accordingly. (24 words).
2. wrz25: Theme = Your SS, 2B, and CF must have a combined fielding rating of 7 or higher. (e.g. SS 2, 2B 2 and CF 3, or SS 1, 2B 3, CF 3, etc)
3. Roosky. Theme - you may only carry one pitcher that is 8 million or more at any given time.
4.honestiago--Balanced Batters--roster of 15; 5 must bat R, 5 left, and 5 are switch hitters (16 words)
5. he's meat - each team must have one, and only one JOHNSON at all times (read into this what you will)
6. gfdwarf07 - At least one member of the starting (hitters) lineup for every game must have come from the WAS-DB, WAS-pre, WAS-post or MN-exp rosters, even considering injuries (26 words)
7. miduar - catchers cannot have a "1" injury rating, and MUST leadoff
8. treyomo - Uneven Steven - no pitchers allowed with a balance rating of E
9. OakAth72- Left, Right, and Small....All East Teams play in Penmar, Central in Hilltop, West in Forbes '57...placement through randomization.
10. Jamesgang77 - ONLY Eligible Sp's are NON *
11. Paul_Long71 - Of your starting 8 guys, your top HR hitter, whoever has the most on their "real life stats" not simulated stats, must bat in the 8 spot in the order. (exactly 30)

Does Jamesgang's rule negate Rooskys rule since there are only 2 non SP* pitchers over 8 million if you factor in Treyomos no pitchers with an E balance?

Wrz it wouldnt negate Rooskys theme..it just means you couldnt draft a non * SP for more than 8M...

question: Can you still have Heavy Johnson who is a Catcher but also plays OF? He has an INJURY of 1, so can't play catcher....can he still be on your team and play OF?

actually JamesGang you could draft a non* for over 8M but could only have 1 of them. Unfortunately that only leaves 2 guys that fit that, which is why I think wrz25 asked

It sort of negates mine but my rule was only that you could not carry more than 1 but you are not required to carry any. I could always come up with a different theme that would fit. Would everyone be ok if I changed mine?

Roosky you should keep your theme since you made yours first..i'll try to think of something else..spent a whole day before i finally thought of my devious plan lol

With all non * SP's you couldnt carry more than 1 8M SP anyway..actually none since i can only think of Pedro and Adams over 8M. The rule doesnt say 'must" have one 8m SP.

If it works i'll keep my suggestion, if not i'll think of something else.

(And SS gives me a a headache sometimes) :lol:

gonna need a randomizer as soon as last guy joins so that we know divisions/stadiums we're playing in....need that before making our teams.

btw, jamesgang--Adams over 8M card can't be used as it has an E rating. The 2 usable non* SP over 8M are Pedro (2 diff cards) and Slim Jones.
