Would ATG work as a mystery card game?

Interesting. ATG has the most active volume I believe of any of the other games (?)...not sure why one would think porting the other games' mechanics to ATG would result in something positive, simply from a business POV.
Pillpop was right on the money.

Mystery card game would be a negative for Stratomatic and I would think lead to a decline in ATG business. It is simply not fun to find out that your division mate was able to pick several 10 million dollar pitchers and not the 4K version making all other teams in the division uncompetitive.

There are already too many options for forming leagues and enough variation in performance merely from the luck of the dice and the programmers in the back office to make the mystery game much fun.

As people have pointed out if it was that much better of a game it would be more popular.

who are you to decide for the rest of us what we'll like? the market will determine it? its like men's clubs. they don't drag you off the street and force you to enter. or guns, red meat, casinos, cigars, etc. or the brand new ATG MYSTERY GAME!

I am not deciding I am merely observing, there is a market for years in this already, play 5 teams and you'll be one of the top 50 players in that market. Oh wait you already have 35 games in the years it has been on the market and I see you are #2. Panzer is #3 with 3 five packs. Don't think $300 in sales over a couple years for the top players is a good business model, but that is just me.
