[quote:e5dca87321="Valen"]I would ask nev the same question I posed to salt earlier. Does posting what you consider bad trades on boards result in any fewer bad trade offers being made to you?

No.......and that is because the biggest offenders are not on the forums to join in this group therapy. I can say that it has personally made me more cognizant of the offers that I am sending out.
The answer always seems to be hit the decline button and move on. A great argument for a free service but each league for all intents and purposes is a $300.00 group investment with no return on your dollar except for the distant chance of a "free credit" and some escapist fun. I would like to think that the price of admission comes with a certain etiquette amongst the managers in trading situations or in the case of an underperforming superstar (200mil) to offer him up for trade rather than drop him outright. There are managers that want to win and take the game seriously and these instances do affect outcomes.
I realize that these are all unwritten rules but if you make the managers aware of the page we are all trying to play on it will make for a better league. You think ARod will ever walk across a pitchers mound again?
When I first started playing a couple of years ago there was a manager (Play By The Rules) who called me every name in the book because I didn't hit the decline button. Couldn't stand the guy but I have never failed to respond since. Where is he when we need him?
