Maybe I'm crazy, but I see 1989-2002 Model or 1959-2004 Model as the only 2 options. What am I missing?

You're missing the fact that I was too lazy to look up the real years and relied on my sieve-like memory. Use the more recent model. :)

Further question...

Left/right analysis? Do you sweat it, or do you let it roll like a real life manager, and no switch it up?

So, is this normalization?

The first 100+ games of the season, I averaged 10.9 RPG at home. So far, for the start of my long homestand, I have scored a total of 53 runs in the first nine games for a stellar 5.8 RPG.

I hope this doesn't mean what I think it means...

After scoring 17, 16, and 10 last night (and going 2-1), I'm averaging nearly 10 runs per game (770 runs in 78 games). There is much power in this one...

On a side note, does anyone else have problems with Teddy Ballgame getting injured? Not just with this team, but nearly every time I have him he seems to go down for an inordinate amount of time with injuries. Not more than three games, but he is hurt often.[/quote:8c6d37f6b9]

I used him a lot at first in ATG 5, but I felt he seemed to get injured more times than what you would expect.[/quote:8c6d37f6b9]

The last two nights, Teddy has been injured, albeit only for 1 game each time, but still...

He gets injured a LOT!

Out for 12 games already this season.

Only twice has he been down for 3 games, and once for two, which means he has been injured 7 times this season. Most players don't get injured at all.

Any theories, besides the normal conspirational ones? lol

I shouldn't complain, though. My 15-game injury Joe D has been injured twice, both times for 0 games.[/quote:8c6d37f6b9]

Here we go again, make it 8 times for a total of 15 games...

Getting really annoying.

Ok, starting to believe the normalization talk.

After averaging 10.25 runs per game during the first 2/3 of the season, since game 106 (the start of the last third) I have averaged 6.2 RPG.

12 of those 19 games have been at home (where I averaged 10.8 RPG), and include a visit to South End Grounds, also a hitter's paradise.

If this keeps up, I think we can seriously start to wonder about normalization still being in effect. The same thing happened to my last monster offense team, at about the same point in the season.

Maybe another way to think about this decreased run production is that you no longer have my team to beat up :)

HTF did you get Williams, Ruth, Bonds, Hornsby and DiMaggio? NO ONE of your opponents in a 100M league picked ANY of them?

Kudos on your results.

Well I'm 9-9 after a week, with only 7.88 runs per game. I have reverse normalization. I will need to get it to kick me up to something along the lines of expectation.
