My Two Cents

Commissioner 2cityfan,

Can I suggest a simple, additional rule? It will be hard to keep track of which team is which in a 24-team league if we use cutesy names like "Bombers by the Bay", "Lasorda's Boys", and "Midwest Bashers." I would suggest that each manager has to use the real team name like "New York Mets" or "Texas Rangers." That might make the team names boring but the league play more interesting to follow.

[b:8007c5622f]2cityfan,

Since I am in the East, would you like me to create the league per your specs and send out a password to the East managers?[/b:8007c5622f]

By the way, I can see why the Mets were one of the leftovers (even skipped by nymets99). Not a large pool of players for me to choose from. Oh well - LET'S GO METS.

The biomechanical man will get us started.. please send the league PW to the East Managers. [b:c8a7d40792]Please remember when buying your teams to select the ATGv6 postww2 filter[/b:c8a7d40792]

Please make your team name transparent so we know which franchise(s) you are using.. thanks

As for the Mets.. I don't think they are so bad at 100mil

C - Gary Carter
1b - K. Hernandez (new card is strong)
2b Randolph
SS Harrelson/Santana (weak bat, but at least you have a "1"range)
3b Wright
LF Cleon Jones
CF Beltran
Rf Strawberry
DH Dykstra/Knight

SP - Gooden, Seaver,Ojeda, Matlack
RP - Myers

That team should be competitive.. Their pitching is really good and deep
