I do love whiskey! I prefer Scotch, but I picked up a bottle of Jameson Gold when i was in Dublin, yummy! Irish is smoother than Scotch, since they're all distilled three times, but I prefer the scotch flavor. Bobby, Macallan has added a 30 yr old single malt, a bit fruitier than the 25, also one of the best. Double yummy!

As for beer, I get enough of the good German stuff over here. Some American microbrews would be nice, surprise me!

You have to let me know what YOU want Bobby, I owe you a bottle or two.

Bobby, you're the man! 8)

7. Frannyzoo -- Crown by historical precedent, anything but watery American beer and cleaning products by choice. I'm especially fond of Old Rasputin Imperial Stout (although it causes actual hallucinations it's so strong) and Stone Vertical Epic, especially last years ('04). Still, a simple Full Sail Amber or Rogue Dead Guy Ale will suffice.

I agree with others posting above on the Bobby for President idea. I'd say at this point we all owe him a new house or at very least a '53 corvette or '69 shelby depending on taste.

Wait just a second. I was expecting a wholesome, Christian gathering, with fellow baseball fans. You guys are talking drinking spirits, gambling, STRIP CLUBS??? Next you will be telling me that there are women of ill repute on every street corner.

False alarm I have just learned that Vegas has more chapels per square mile than any other city in the US, and more annual couples joining in holy matrimony. It must be a God fearing place.

Actually, this is muttdoc's Mother, Princess Squawhoo. I have been reading this thread with some alarm. I just KNOW you boys wouldn't do anything to compromise my darling baby boy, would you? He has led a sheltered existence, living in our basement, playing Stratomatic for the most part. He occasionally goes off his medicine and has the delusion that he is, in actuality, a prominent psychiatrist. We humor him, poor dear, and let it pass. It is a harmless delusion. This trip is very important to him. He has never been away from home before, overnight. Could somebody discreetly monitor him to make sure he takes his medication, and goes to bed at a reasonable hour?

People pray more in this city on a daily basis than anywhere in the world....You can actually witness people crossing their hands and asking for the Almighty to intervene. We hold hands here and wish for happiness and a solution to life's problems. Las Vegas is the Mecca and the journey to come here gratifies the soul.... Plus the nice thing about this town is "what happens here stays here"....Come and be part of the adventure.
