[quote:f4c9292038="Artie412"]HTF did you get Williams, Ruth, Bonds, Hornsby and DiMaggio? NO ONE of your opponents in a 100M league picked ANY of them?

Kudos on your results.

Artie[/quote:f4c9292038]

This team is in a 12-season league where each team is drafted in toto. First pick drafts a whole team, 2nd pick drafts his whole team, etc. This season's team I had the 5th pick, so yes, at least four managers did not want any of my players. :)

[quote="Brooklyn Bombers"][quote:045bc53396="Munich_Man"]Ok, starting to believe the normalization talk. [/quote:045bc53396]

If you buy a few more teams, the normalization factor seems to disappear - if you need a few more wins, just buy a team or two and your team will win again - I think that's an algorithim thats built into the game IMHO. HAL will give credits, but take them away too if you don;t spend $$$.

Well, I ended up 6-3 against the dark side. I only allowed 50 runs in those 9 games. Perhaps now that you are done with Johnson and Koosman, you will hit again.
I hit as many HRs as the dark side, 310-304, but I don't get on base like they do .437-.327 , but I can pitch (ERA) 7.24 to 4.67.

Rick....I have stuff to say about normalization...tell me when you'll be around so maybe it can become a conversation here.

INJURY: Ted Williams INJURED (for 2 more games) in 3rd inning[/quote:a8ec835a1b]

What is it with this guy???

That makes nine injuries for a total of 17 games, 21 if you count the games where he was injured in or before the third inning.

MY Dark Side bounced back also with a sweep on games of 9/14/10 - the other side to that story is that we won by only 1 run in each of those games.

Indeed, and the night before they managed 20, 5 and 17. Perhaps I was premature on the Nromalization talk...
