now that the league is loaded and teams are made, I'd like to clarify a point that has been going back and forth.
According to our commish, Bbrool, you can use any card/year of your players not necessarily the year you picked. For example, Phillies can use a diff Bowa year than '80.
I'd say we should at least keep it to a year where the guy played for your franchise. In other words Astros cant use Nolan Ryan's Cali years since there is a Houston card.....I can't use Haddix's Stl year since there is a Pitt card of him. A's CAN use any of the A's cards of Canseco (not just the '90 year) but/and must use an A's card of McGwire (not a STL one).
I'm not the commish, but I hope that sounds right to everyone. That way we still have some leniency but can't abuse the theme of the league.
