Your first taste is one of the many teams we're adding to the player pool. Don't ask how many we're adding total, because I won't tell you (yet). And also, I can't guarantee that I'll have time to post a new teaser or team every day - I might not have enough to fill up the time I need to build the damn game anyway. World Series winners; Hall-of-Famers George Kelly, Frankie Frisch, Dave Bancroft. I'd say this is a fine way to kick off the march to ATG III!

Excellent, a Giants team!!! A GREAT Frisch 2B card that may outclass Eddie Collins and Charlie Gehringer, Ross Youngs in RF, and Bancroft at SS......we always appreciate more options up the middle. :) :D 8)

are we getting new Bancroft and Frisch cards? How are overlaps going to be decided?

Has it been stated whether or not we are losing any teams?

Mmm, looks like Frisch played 93 games at 3B and 61 games at 2B -- so he will be a two position player. That's good, though sometimes the range rating suffers when a player spreads out across different positions.

Bancroft had 39 errors at SS.

Hak, usually (always) the better card erases the poorer card -- however, in this case -- read the thread mentioned by Bernie -- there may be player "pools" where some of the old cards will be used. So you might have two Frisch cards in two different contexts (where they would not be playing against each other, of course.)

Nice offensive cards, but I don't see Frisch or Bancroft either one being "1's"....too many errors. Could Earl Smith be the new Delancey?!? :D

Frisch had 36 errors also . I like the idea that he wont be a 15 gamer. Kelly and Burns look like they may be worth a long look also . :D

Earl "Oil" Smith bio info........not good friends with Bancroft!

.....A pugnacious, strong-willed catcher for five NL pennant winners, Smith received his nickname from columnist Westbrook Pegler's Brooklynese pronunciation of his first name. With the champion Giants of 1921-22, he ignored manager John McGraw's signals and defied bed checks. Traded to the Pirates, he hit .313 for the 1925 World Champions and a career-high .346 the next season. He missed a month with the 1927 NL champions when he was suspended for smashing the jaw of Braves manager Dave Bancroft in an unprovoked attack. Sold to the Cardinals the next year, he helped them to the 1928 NL pennant.
