Good Friday to Black Sunday

Postby CHRISTIANSTOUGH » Sun Jul 16, 2006 10:29 am

Friday
So, I'm feeling good friday cause one of my teams made a miracle run and made the playoffs, :D then..

Sunday
I look at my teams and and realize that four of my teams got knocked out of First place in one night.

The wheel truned round quick on that one.

It's like that Lincoln story about the guy who stubs his toe on the way to his 1st date, "he's too big to cry and he can't get angry, but it hurts like He@@" :?

I am firmly convinced that deep in the basement of TSN Headquarters there is a master control panel with every managers name on it, that at any given time a switch can be flipped which causes said manager to go on a continuous losing streak. The "Screw Fluffyman64 or Screw Simon31 etc.., switch. I envision a scenario whereby Nico and Bernie go out for a heavy night of drinking, then go down in the basement and start looking at team names, managers or whatever irritates them at the time, and starts flipping switches. "Nike Warriors?" I bought a pair of Nike's once...they sucked!" -FLIP- Maybe some nights they roll dice. "If it's a 1 through 4, Simon31 gets flipped tonight!" 5 through 9. Fluffyman64 goes down. 10,11 and 12, Ed Grubberman is history!" I'll bet some nights they have parties down there where everyone starts flipping switches. Aaah but then sobriety brings guilt, and guilt leads them to the confessional on Sundays where sitting there alone, in the dark, waiting...they slowly press their faces to the screen in an attempt to see if in fact anybody is really in the other side....and "WHACK" the priest nails them in the face with a bible! "flip."
