I have never used him and I know he is almost always available on the wire. Have looked at him before but the price, ouch! Any regular Ted Williams users out there and has anyone used him in a small park? Curious for future consideration.

No feedback on Ted, but it brings up an outstanding point. This card DESPARATELY needs to be repriced. He is just too damn expensive to have on the team in an 80M league. I hope its address in ATG3

I use him in 100 mil leagues, and on my last team I won a title with him. I also used to use him a lot in ATG I with great success. I would not recommend him in a pitchers park however.

I have the same problem with Williams, Gehrig, and Hornsby. All put up great numbers for me, but the teams they are on never win. I think they just tie up too much cash that you need to balance the rest of the team.

I feel that certain players need the proper combinations to bring out the value. Williams greates value is the tremoundous OBP he brings to the table. Therefore I have always thought he must be your leadoff hitter to get the most for your buck. Now for Teddy to be your leadoff hitter #3,4 & 5 better be pretty darn good - you can't be going for value, Cobb, Joe Dimaggio, and Eddie Mathews come to my mind with a Honus Wagner to bat #2. ANd I think that 5 could probably play in any park but more fun in Fenway!

Teddy Ballgame as my leadoff hitter. Not doing too shabby.
