Has anyone ever won a ring with Mantle & Gehrig?

I was thinking after my love letter to Mick... many teams have won titles with the two most expensive pitchers in the game (Pete/3-Finger), but has anyone ever won it all with the two most expensive hitters in the game??

I tried it once and went 88-74 and missed the playoffs.

I didn't win a ring but dominated the league and lost in the finals. Both Gehrig and Mantle had great years. I played in Briggs.

Gehrig was second to Mays in the MVP voting, and Mantle was fourth...but as you can see, both were instrumental in my teams success.... :)
