Going out with a whimper...

Just a small rant/vent to close out ATGII. My teams have pretty much sucked over the last 2 months. Granted, I was gone a month, but I've gone from .542 to .538 and falling in win %, which is pretty substantial given the number of teams I've had. I'm 16-21 in Finals, including 4 where I was up 3-0 and another 4 where I was up 3-1, and am currently down 0-2 in another. I've just come off a 9 game losing streak in a league, and am now in the midst of a 6 game streak in the same league. In the 6th season of a keeper league where I have finished 1st five times and 2nd the other time, I am currently mired in 4th, 4 games behind a team that just came off a 17-game losing streak (and I STILL couldn't catch him!), and have the worst record in the league.

Just frustrating since I have some good teams. They just aren't hitting, and some aren't pitching either. Bad cloud over Munich lately.

Last night I went 15-9 which was the first time in 7 days my teams have had a winning record, hence the frustration build up.

Just had to get that out!! :D

:!: That's IT!!! I was in Chicago. I have been infected with Cubness. Not only that, I went to the Bluesfest, and was given a reason to sing the blues.

Maybe I have to watch a White Sox game or two (oh the horror!!)

Hey Rick, my teams have been hot since Las Vegas. I have gone from a winning pct of .505 to .508 because of all the great advice I got while there. :D Here is my next team based on info from you.

I have not been doing too well lately, either. I no longer enjoy waking up and checking my scores. It is a daily "who got swept now" kind of feeling. I have 4 teams currently, and none of them are over .500! :roll: My last few playoff teams have disappointed. I have a good overall record in Finals (17-7), but I have lost my last 2 after winning 10 in a row. I just do not enjoy this game as much right now....
