Maury Wills?

Anyone ever use him? Great source of steals, however I don;t see him used that often. Is he a good option at that price? Is his D questionable?

His "D" is average, his on base is poor and his power is none. That's why he isn't used much.

The faults listed above are accurate. However, he does have some plusses. Obviously, good running and stealing. Can't be injured. Only 4 DP chances per side. Most of his ground balls are gb B's, so if there is a runner on first, its a fielder's choice, and now Wills in the new runner. I rate him slightly below Bush and Peck, but above Bowa and Crosetti, and Fernandez.

I know it wasn't the subject of the thread, but that was an impressive season you got out of George Gibson.

Thanks! His OBP is weak to be sure but he scored almost 100 runs on Gamians 100 win team! I'm between him & Peckingpaugh (either would bat eighth on my new team) Peck has the better D but Wills seems to be a more dynamic player. Decisions, decisions!
