Looking for up to 10 managers to play in Netplay League at a slower place than the the three existing leagues. First season will be HOFers with the 1941 season - Ted Williams hits .406 and Joe Dimaggio's famous 56 game hitting streak.

Play when it fits your schedule - play early, play late, you have a whole month!

League format:

Fall league (begins in the fall league and lasts all year).
10 teams
35 player rosters (25 active, 10 inactive) with 31 season players and 4 HOF players
Balanced schedule of 162 games - 18 against each of opponent in three game series.
Four team best-of-seven playoffs leading to two team, best-of-seven World Series
Seprentine draft in September
Season play of 24 games a month Oct through May
Playoffs in June
July and August are vacation months.

Play format:

24 games a month - results due by 27th and CMs due by 30th
Season play with 31 season players plus for four (4) HOF players per team
100% usage - plate appearances (AB plus BB) for batters, IP for pitchers
No injuries - PA mirror real life and works best with month-at-a-time setup
Ballpark effects to be used - actual season stadiums must be chosen

I'll volunteer as an alternate or as a regular. I do not yet have the 1941 season but could get that right away if need be. My problem is that I will be gone from Sept 13-14 to Oct 2 and will not have internet access. (Ging to Italy to immerse myself in the Rennaisance) 8) That would get in the way of the draft as planned. If you want me as a regular and the draft can start after Oct 2, or if you think I can get the disk and we can finish the draft on or before Sept 13-14th, put me down as a regular.
