Resting Starters Before The Playoffs Start

About to head into the playoffs with my 1st squad ever. Have the division, best record, and home field sealed with 6 games left.
I'm getting a little paranoid about someone getting injured. Like most teams, my bench is garbage.
I've got my rotation set up. Lemon, Grove, Kaat, Bagby at Municipal.
Should I sit some of my starters in the final series of the season, hoping to avoid a 3 game injury? I think most of my guys have over 600 PA, so I shouldn't have to worry about anything more than a 3 game, right?

Bench, Cleon and Benji need to be sat down NOW. Also tweak the players settings to minimize the chance of them pinch hitting as HAL has this sadistic way of bringing one of these guys in to pinch hit when your down 8-3.
Sometimes I rest my SPs in the last 2 games, depends on innings pitched and their rating.
Best of luck, sschu
rest em!

Unless I'm in a race, I always sit as many injury prone guys as possible for at least two series before the end of the season, 9 if I have a cushion.
That reminds me, I have to do that!
Of course it's hard sometimes, since I usually have 4-6 15+ injury guys in the lineup. :)

Thanks fellas. Im really tempted to go balls to the wall and play for the 100 win season. I need to go 4-2.
Right now I have Cleon and Bench on the pine. Something tells me my inner egomaniac may get the best of me and cause me to tempt fate.

I would agree with the advice given so far though the reason is I've not done so and I would say every time somebody has gotten injured. Last time is my current team, best record and lost Concepcion for the Semi Finals a 2 games of the finals. I got by the Semi Finals and start the finals with Jackie Robinson at SS.
I also have played for 2 years and never have had a 100 game season so don't take that for granted. I would rest the last series the 3 players mentioned but I would play them until you have the 100 win season.

Go ahead, rook. Tempt fate.
Bat Bench in the one slot. Jones is excellent in the two hole.
Go ahead. Laugh at the gods of SOM. Show them who is Da Boss. Do it now and good fortune will follow you throughout your Strat-O career.

I spit on the Strato Gods.
They pinch hit Cleon AND Bench in game one last night despite me checking the "don't PH" box on their cards. Then Doby got hurt for 2 games and Cleon played the rest of the series.
One series left. I just benched Cleon, Bench, Reggie, and Mr Cub despite needing to go 2-1 for a hundie wins.

That doesn't seem like spitting to me. That seems like bowing to the gods of SOM.
Now me. I have been rewarded for resting Sherm "The Collar" Lollar. Steve Lake just went down for the post season.
I've read that the remaining healthy catcher won't be injured in ATG2. So Sherm is a 700 PA guy now.
Right? That is correct, isn't it? I mean the gods of SOM wouldn't force Craig Reynolds or Pete Fox to catch, would they?
Would they?

"Craig, come here. I wanna show you something. This is called a shin guard....."

Got the hundie ... and sustained no injuries. Did lose Boog for 3 games in game one, but he will be back for game one of the playoffs.
