Tim McCarver got in at CF last night for my opponent after Dawson and Kid Davis both went down in the last game of our series

Dawson gone for 3 and Davis gone for 7....looks like McCarver may get the start in CF for that team in the next series

i've seen no reasoning to hal's logic to filling holes in lineups and/or defense.
the other day on a struggling team of mine - which i let hal control the batting order - he benched pete rose and red rolfe in favor of jap barbeau, who went 0-4.
