I can understand how pitchers get injured while batting, just roll a 2-2. But how do they get injured while they are pitching?

It probably happens to relievers all the time, but it happened to Bob Gibson last night http://fantasygames.sportingnews.com/baseball/stratomatic/atg2/league/boxscore.html?group_id=17551&g_id=711

In a DH league, pitchers can get hurt when pitching to the opposing DH. A roll of 6-12 will do it.
