I'm getting buggy eyed looking at this team. http://fantasygames.sportingnews.com/baseball/stratomatic/atg2/team/team_other.html?user_id=59847,
How the heck do you put a team in now so you can click on it and go there?
Ok I figgered that out now how do I just get it to say the name
of the team instead of being 4 miles long?
Anyways the players are:

Berra c
McCormick 1b
Gehringer 2b
Rolfe 3b
McDougald ss
Meusel lf
Speaker cf
Cuyler rf

This is one of them teams I don't really like all that well but I had to take what I could get.
It will probably do very well as the teams I really like suck.

Grindi,

It seems like you have too many 2nd hitters, but here is what I would suggest:

(vs LH/RH)
Kiki
Rolfe
Speaker
Meusel/Berra
McCormick
Berra/Meusel
McDougald
Gehringer

Rolfe always seems to hit for me in the 2nd hole behind a speedster. Speaker is a better #2, but if you hit him #2, then where do you hit Rolfe? You could hit Speaker #2 and Rolfe #3 and try to take advantage of Rolfe's 2Bs and Kiki/Speaker's speed .....

In retrospect I would have gone for a glove at SS and used the $$ elsewhere. After Kiki and Speaker, not much team speed. But you're winning, can't argue with that.

Sschu, this team had a really bad draft and was put together from left overs. Kiki, Speaker, and Meusel were the only position player draftees I got. I always thought Rolfe was a 3, 4, or 5 guy. I've never batted him 2nd. I'll try throw these lineups is and see what happens. I had them:

Meusel/Gehringer
Speaker
Kiki
McCormick/Berra
Gehringer/McCormick
Rolfe
Berra/McDougald
McDougald/Meusel

The possibilites just seem endless with no one that jumps out at me. Thanks

Grindi,

I understand, you gotta play the cards you were dealt .... :D

The top 2 would be Kiki/Rolfe or Kiki/Speaker IMHO. G-man is too slow for #1, I have hit him #2 a lot, and except for Dunn teams, he is unspectacular, just not enough SLG and speed to create runs. Speaker is a great #2 behind a speedster, lots of 2Bs, good OBP with speed to set the table.

Maybe if Rolfe does not work out:

Kiki
Speaker
Meusel

Best of luck, sschu

I also think you need to be Kiki/Speaker/ Meusel. I think Rolfe hits in way too many dp's to bat 2nd. He might work out at 3rd against RH's in lieu of Meusel.

Don't overlook Charlie as a leadoff guy. He does as well as Keller or Pesky and quite few others. Here he is with a season of leading off against rightys. He had about half a season against leftys but Pendleton was hitting leftys so well I stuck him at leadoff.

103 runs for Charlie and 61 for Terry.
I like your suggestions. Any of you guys ever try batting R, L, R, L through the lineup on leftys and L, R through the lineup on rightys, so you can eliminate the specialists or at least get favorable matchups?
