Good results? His HR rolls are 2,3,4 and 12, 10, 9 which are different than most sluggers whose hovers closer to the 4-7 roll range. Is he worthwile platooning with a right handed slugger in a HR park?

Too expensive, for the $6-$7M you can get Ennis, Valentine, Klingon or even Joe Jackson or Kiki and there are other good corner OF options. They will create more runs than a Strawman/whoever platoon.
Platoons often do not produce the expected results, in large part because they do end up getting ABs against their weak side.

Never used him, but agree with Sschu that platoons only work some of the time ......

I've used him succesfully a couple of times, platooned with Roenicke once and Brouhard the other, if I recall correctly, did better than expected, I'll try to dig up a link for you, in a HR or neutral park he will crank the power.

Link did not work. I have seen Deron Johnson and Norm Cash used to extremely good results-50 plus HR's and over 150 RBI's. Unless the first pitcher does not go at least 6-7 innings I would think that plattooning could work.
Anyone else have good luck with platooning?
I like the fact that I can bring 4-6 players with good stats against any given pitcher and still have enough for a pitching staff.

I think Strawman is too expensive to platoon, but there are others that create positive results. Minch/Johnson is one of my favs in a hitters park, have done it several times. Expect a .250 BA but 40+ HRs and 120+ RBIs, not bad for $5M.
Others where I've had sucess include Brock/J Alou and Maz/Bos (Chief Wahoo's favorite), and Nettles/Wera, all on the cheap side. The classic, Walling & Knight has never produced as well at the $6M+ price tag IMHO.

I have used a McMullin/Riggs platoon at 3B very successfully (last time I did it, I won a ring). On that team, their combined numbers are
AB 640
R 62
H 188
2B 45
3B 11
HR 8
RBI 64
BA .294
SLG .436
OBP .319
not bad for 2.11 MM

Works in a hitter park.
