I finish tied for 2nd in division as well as the Wildcard. I lose because of the tie breaking process. This is bull!!!!!!!!!!!! We are playing baseball not football!!!! There should be a 1 game playoff to determine who the WC team is!!!!!!!! :x

Personally I am glad to see a team with 3 non-pitching pitchers on their team not make the playoffs. Mainly because of the pitchers available it is not a strategy anyone in a league can employ.

As for the tie-breaker rule those are always interesting and a one game playoff would seem to be the way to go, especially considering leagues end on Friday and playoffs aren't until Monday. Would have Saturday for any playoffs. But that would be a programming change for what is viewed as a minor issue.

I agree, I have had teams end in a tie twice and have been given the short straw both times. Amazingly enough, the last team had 90 wins and tied for the 2nd best record in the league. And as fate would have it, the team with the 5th best overall record won the championship.

i blame hal - as i do for everything. hal made a crappy decission somewhere in the year that cost you a game - thus you tied. see it's always hal's fault.

A one-game or three-game tiebreaker would be nice, but it appears that the schedule is too tight to allow the playoff.

Several owners would bitch about HAL screwing them in the one-game playoff anyway. As mentioned above, the re-programming and extra attention probably isn't worth it anyway.

BULL!!!!!!!!!! It is not a minor issue when your team doesn't make the playoffs!!!!!! I don't buy the programing change either. Look at the playoffs. Semi_Finals game 5, and Finals games 5,6, and 7 are all one game played. It is that TSN doesn't want to give a free game and would rather screw their customers just like they did when they switched to these new idiotic boards. Can't wait for my teams to be done so I won't waste any more money on TSN Products!!!!!!![/quote:e70e6de40c]

Assmeritan- Hopefully, your just angry now, and speaking from your hurt heart, and not your mind....

Listen, ya, it sucks, many things about this version sucks, and there is not much more we can do about it.

Ya shoulda been here for day 1, or, for the Great X-Mas Blackout!! Wow, whatta disaster that was, 2-3 days with NO service!! No, not me, TSN had NO SERVICE!!

Your truly one of the new managers that I respect. You took on the challenges that Chief gives to himself, with his personal themes, and your always building teams to go after records, be it BA, or HRs, or ERA, whatever, you give it a whack, and usually, your teams compete at the same time, which is tuff to do.

Please rethink your stance on leaving. The only time things get changed with TSN-SOM is when the community as a whole takes a stance and yells and cries really loud.

I can see them changing this, eventually, but first, I think we can agree, that weighted waivers is more important, since, that is when your season can get screwed the most. Forget the tie breaker, if your screwed at teh draft, the season doesnt matter.

Assmeritan, I will back you on this, that is, after TSN goes to weighted waivers, then, lets tackle this tie-breaker thing, deal?

And, whats the next record your going after?

If it makes you feel any better, I was just recently (last friday) on the short end of a tie breaker as well, and I was FIRMLY in the wild card spot for a great deal of the season. Life goes on, try again. Glass half full. And there is no hurricane coming and you're healthy.
