WHY????

Why, during a Frenzy or mini- frenzy (the period after waivers) would you NOT read your mail...I'm not talking about the first few minutes of a Frenzy, but a bit into it.......It's probably a trade offer right? yet they go unread, only to be opened at the tail end of the minorest (is that a word) transactions left.....By then of course the players in the transaction have long since been swapped out.... :(
I've had two recent situations where the first owner said "WOW, I woulda took that deal" but of course it couldn't be put together again...The other situation the owner said "I loved that deal, why did you rescind".....My answer was by the time he opened his mail the player I wanted to complete the deal was no lomger on the free agent list......... :(
WHY don't we open the mail??????? :(

Because we get SO much of it in every league, and we're really busy.....I'd rather not get league-wide mail that is not directly targeted to moi -- that stuff bores me.....
LOVE THE FRENZY, not trading so much...

It's my favorite part of SOM. can't dilute it, 'till the thrill is gone!

Seems weird Mr. nevdully's.
I sent you a league mail when I saw I was in a league with the number 1 ATGII guy, still waiting on my response.

Hack,
what I mean is specific trade offers from one owner to another. :)

It takes me much longer to do things like open the free agent list, open messages, etc. Don't really know why. Consequently, I spend much more time during a frenzy just trying to put together a usable team. I can't really take the time to look at other teams or even open messages until I know I've taken a good shot at the FA list.
Why not???

No one should ever read Nev's trade offers during frenzies. He frequently stockpiles top guys at one or two positions. Ignoring his offers will prevent that strategy from working. Besides that, it may piss him off and cause him to lose focus.

Oh yeah, another reason. The man is like an octopus grabbing the top free agents. Like our last frenzy. I glance at the list, see there are Musial, Cobb and Aaron available. I grab Cobb, beating someone out for him by a nanosecond it turns out. As I do so, Nev grabs Musial AND Aaron. This happens all the time.
There ought to be a law banning Nev from frenzying. He probably has his wife on a different computer helping him grab players... he's that fast.

Scum man, he IS the computer. I have been trying to tell everyone, but nobody will listen. Like the guy at the end of Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Nobody will listen...until it's too late.

It's awful tough to feel sorry for Michael, but here goes...
Michael (said in my best Bill Clinton voice), I feel your pain...
I love to trade but it's so difficult in this game for a variety of reasons...
Petrosian you're scortching my a*ss with all these recent rings... I'm probably going to be stuck on 14 for awhile and since I'm currently only running 3-4 ATG teams it won't be long before you, ghk and one of the seven other guys in double figures passes me...
Oh well, perhaps one of you can give Michael a good honest run for his money. I'm convinced I can never catch him...
