Wasn't that the quote from Monty Python's Flying Circus, right???
Well I built a team by the same name. I wanted to try some different players that I don't (and others don't) use very often.
Not the entire team of course, I'm not nuts!
Particularly starting pitching ... My staff is anchored by Babe Adams, but my 2 thru 5 are Ray Narleski, Nolan Ryan, Don Larsen, Dave Dravecky. Bet you haven't seen that staff before.
Here's the team:

Whaddya think??? Can they win???

Hey Rich, I was just thinking about doing the same thing! I'm trying to put a team together using only players I have never used before in ATGII. Feeling kind of stuck in a rut lately, going for the "different" like you said.

MM,
I tried to build the team using a ton of different guys, but couldn't seem to put together a mix that stood a chance of winning. I was gonna try Bill White instead of Coop for example, but couldn't bring myself to do it. Season kicks off Monday, I'm open to suggestions for alternative guys ...
Rich
P.S. - How do you like my staff????

Hey Coach, I did the same thing, in a vet league. It was a 100 million live draft league (actually, 12 season draft where each season you draft in a diferent spot, whole team at a time) Anyhoo, I drafted only 80 million worth, cause I forgot it was 100 mill, but I basically just changed out the SPers after the waivers went thru.
Only have 1-2 everyday players on this team. Check it out. It lost in game 5 of the semis, but was fun as hell imagining the looks on Penngrays face as this team whupped up on his, lol....
