Playing in Griff, division includes two other Griffs and one Fenway 67, league is primarily pitchers parks, I will play only 18 games total in extreme hitters parks.

My humble opinion? Not enough "O." Great OF, but to take advantage of the Great One you need to have some more LH bats in the attack. Schalk for me is not worth the money, I'd prefer to see even Herschberger/Gonzalez. Evers I never thought was a good option, usually I can figure something else out, others love him.

SP is very nice.

sschu,

Don't like the change you made. Evers will do O.K., not great, but O.K.

With both Clemente and Banks in your lineup, you need to have 5 Lefty bats IMHO. If you wanna upgrade, how about Whitaker at 2B? Any lefty catchers out there? Cochrane?

If I were playing you right now, all you'd see would be "hard" RHP's.

I like Evers on this team. Everything looks good. The way I see it you will score, on the whole more runs than you give up. With the extra money, I would put it in the pen. Maybe upgrade one of the guys into a more dominant closer. Another lefty bat couldn't hurt. With that staff Dempsey would be a good option.

Txs for the input guys, I went back to the orginal plan, 4 SPs, 3 big guns and Knepper. Brought back Evers and got Miller as closer.

Hope it works!

I like the team, but be prepared to face a ton of RHP's.
