I'm wondering if anybody has a definitive answer to how the pitcher's settings and manager's settings work?
Specifically, if you set a pitcher to "avoid righties", does that mean HAL will be more likely to pull him vs. righty batters? (OR) Does that mean HAL will simply be more likely to intentionally walk a righty batter?
For example: Could you use a guy like Danny Darwin and set him to avoid lefties and then set your manager strategy to aggressive intentional walks.
(Figuring you could set your other more balanced pitchers to intentional walk less to kind of counteract it.)
Any thoughts? Comments? Or answers?
