Half small ball -- Half Basher -- All Defense........

In a pitcher park (Olympic 80 BP effects All 4's). Other stadiums in Division: Fenway 46 (all 11's) -- Dunn and Forbes

So, I went with a lil bit of everything, here is the team on paper, no line ups set yet.

C Parrish
1B Chance
2B Fox
3B Gardner
SS Ozzie
LF Ruth
CF Mays
RF Jackson

All but Chance are 3 gamers (or less), so the bench is kinda thin. SPer wise I went with Dean and Kaat starting as much as possible and Petry-Vuchocich-Splitroff spotting as best I can. RPers I like alot Beggs- Staley- Fosnow- Morgan- Stanley

Here is the link, and opinions, thoughts, concerns always welcomed and appreciated.....

Seems a bit susceptible to strong LH pitching, even with Mays. Your D will help your SP...but will it be enough? Do you think that team can score 5+ runs per game in Olympic on a consistent basis? That's what it will take to win with the 2-4 SPs in your rotation.

Trey, ya think I am going to have a 4.75 + ERA? With my pen, and my 3-4-5 SPers set on quick hook (when needed anyway), I was kinda hoping for a 4.20 or so team ERA......

Hmmm, whole half run difference in opinions.......

Was thinking more 4.5, but you get the drift. I've had some bad luck with Kaat recently (3 straight seasons of 4.75+ ERAs), so that might be inducing my crap colored glasses.

I [i:ff9bc5cbf5]really[/i:ff9bc5cbf5] like this team a lot... I've had teams with Mays, Nellie and Ozzie up the middle and the pitching simply exceeds anticipated performance every time. I personally like a stronger starting staff, but I think with this offense and D, you are going to have a VERY nice season! Good luck!
